POETRY WHORE ON TOUR
8th - 18th October 2011



Inspired by Oscar Wilde's visit to America to give speeches on Aestheticism, Timothy Grayson will tour the US from the 8th 'til the 18th October 2011 to unite artistic dissidents and instruct them in the teachings of the Brothellian Movement.

As part of this journey, he aims to deliver a series of readings, lectures and seminars on the Brothellian Manifesto (co-written with Steven Silverman) - the definitive guide to Brothelliana - as well as interview key members of the established Brothellian order.

The purpose of this adventure will be:

I. To bring the discoveries of the English Poetry Brothel to American soil.
II. To interview various cultural activists and establish a network of like-minded individuals on both sides of the Atlantic.
III. To discover ways to improve future Brothellian events whilst learning how a country's culture can elevate their interpretation of the Brothellian ideology.

For those who have been following this blog's progression, you will know that Miles Marr of Studio 68 was meant to be joining Timothy, and he contributed a lot of time and effort in the early stages of preparation. Sadly he will be unable to make the trip due to personal reasons, but we are pleased to announce that Mr. Elliott Swinburn will be taking his place, recording their progress with blogs, photographs, interviews and vlogs every day, (these will be collated to form the basis of a documentary to be broadcast shortly after their return).
